Proposed Evaluation Criteria : - Number of NSs have signed agreement at national and/or local level securing an increase of funding for programs for Older People;
- Partnership meetings for experience exchange take place once a year and is recognising their volunteer role in the programs;

- Number of National Societies conducting advocacy activities during the Year of Active Aging.

Pledge text : In recognition of the ageing of population in our countries and the effects of the economic crisis and as part of our commitment to ensure greater respect for older people in Europe, the European National Societies, pledge:
1. To advocate to the central and local authorities for the wellbeing of older people using the opportunities of the Year of Active Ageing and Intergenerational Solidarity – 2012;

2. To promote a positive image of older people as an active resource of the society and integrate them in all aspects of our work, taking into account the immense value of volunteering for our organisation and for their social inclusion;

3. To exchange experiences and good practices in order to better integrate psycho-social support, first aid and disaster prevention in programs for older people;

4. To strive for greater cooperation with governments and local authorities in order to ensure sustainability of services in favour of older people.
