Proposed Evaluation Criteria : Critères d’évaluation proposés (en 2015):
- Des discussions régulières sur les façons d'améliorer ou opérationnaliser les mécanismes de DIH existants ou sur la possibilité de développer un nouveau mécanisme ont eu lieu entre les Hautes Parties contractantes et les autres acteurs concernés.

- Plusieurs rencontres gouvernementales d'experts ont eu lieu sur cette problématique.

- Une Conférence-bilan a été organisée.

Proposed evaluation criteria (in 2015):
- Regular discussions on ways to improve or operationalize existing IHL mechanisms or on the possibility of developing new ones have taken place among High Contracting Parties and other relevant actors.
- Governmental expert meetings have taken place on those issues.
- A stock-taking Conference has been organized.

Pledge text : Conformément à ce qu’il a annoncé lors de la Conférence du 60e anniversaire des Conventions de Genève, le Dépositaire, s’engage à entreprendre un processus, avec les Hautes Parties contractantes et en collaboration avec le CICR, visant à :
-        Explorer et identifier des voies et des moyens concrets pour améliorer  l'application du droit international humanitaire, incluant la question des mécanismes de mise en œuvre;
-        Renforcer le dialogue sur les questions  du droit international humanitaire entre  les Hautes Parties contractantes et les autres acteurs intéressés.

In accordance with its announcement made at the Conference of the 60th Anniversary of the Geneva Conventions, the Depositary undertakes to facilitate a process with the High Contracting Parties and in collaboration with the ICRC, aiming at:
-        Exploring and identifying concrete ways and means to strengthen the application of International Humanitarian Law, including the question of implementation mechanisms;
-        Reinforcing dialogue on International Humanitarian Law issues among High Contracting Parties and other interested actors.
