Pledge text :
I. Continue to adhere to the four Geneva Conventions, the two Additional Protocols and other instruments of International Humanitarian Law to which China is a party.
II. Vigorously promote the dissemination of International Humanitarian Laws and basic principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, make efforts to promote the spirit of the Red Cross Movement volunteers.
III. In response to the appeal of the 31st International Conference of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, enhance capacity building of migration management, foster inclusive migration culture, improve the quality of health care service for women and children, promote gender equality, and boost the capability of emergency response and disaster mitigation.
IV. Continue to support the work of the Red Cross Society of China, help deepen the unique role of the Society as auxiliary to the government in the humanitarian assistance.
V. Enhance the partnership with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the International Federation of the Red Cross (IFRC) and their regional missions in Beijing in international disaster mitigation.
