Proposed Evaluation Criteria : Raising awareness - national level
Raise awareness among relevant and concerned various governmental offices on the IDRL guidelines while highlighting the added value of this initiavtive, through information and dissemination briefings - together with IDRL experts from the IFRC (whenever necessary).

Raising awareness - international level
Seize the opportunity of "Disaster Risk Reduction" meetings, seminars and activitties to promotoe the added value of the IDRL guidelines, whenever deemed approriate.

Pledge text : Préparation juridique aux opérations internationales en cas de catastrophes

La Suisse s'engage à encourager et à soutenir la Fédération internationale des Sociétés de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge dans ses activités de promotion, de sensibilisation et d'aide à l'application des Lignes directrices et de la loi-type pour la facilitation et la réglementation des opérations internationales de secours en cas de catastrophes et d'assistance au relèvement initial.
La Suisse profitera également de l'occasion de la tenue de réunions nationales et internationales pour sensibiliser à l'opinion à l'importance de ces lignes directrices et de cette loi-type.

Legal prepardness for international disaster response

Switzerland pledges to encourage and support the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in its activities related to the promotion and awareness building-alongside its role to facilitate the implementation- of the Guidelines and the Model Act for the Facilitation and Regulation of International Disaster Relief and Initial Recovery Assistance.

Switzerland will also seize the opportunity to raise awareness within national and international fora for the Guidelines and the Model Act for the Facilitation and Regulation of International Disaster Relief and Initial Recovery Assistance.
