Proposed Evaluation Criteria : è        Continued cooperation between the Australian Government and Australian Red Cross, where appropriate, in the implementation of climate change initiatives.
è        Assistance provided to increase the capability of National Societies working in disaster risk reduction and activities that decrease the vulnerability of communities.

Pledge text : To support climate change adaptation in the Asia Pacific region by:

•        supporting Asia Pacific countries to develop and implement adaptation strategies; and

•        continuing to build the capacity of Red Cross & Red Crescent National Societies to assist in reducing the vulnerability of communities to disasters and environmental degradation, particularly any which may arise from climate change.
